It cost to anywhere from $8.00 to $35.00 per year to register a domain name. GoDaddy.com is one of the largest and most economical registrars out there. You may also find registration offers bundled with webhosting services too. A domain name needs to be renewed every year.
Step Two: Gather Your Content -- The old saying is "Content is king." This is the stage where you start writing your text, gathering your photos and video, and gathering all of your content.
Step Three: Design Your Web Site -- This where you and your designer creatin the look and feel of your website.
Step Four: Hosting Your Web Site on a Web Server -- A web host or server is a big computer that is always connected to the Internet. You are paying to "serve" your website to the world. Price will vary, depending on the amount of disk space you will have and extra services you may need.
Step Five: Marketing Your Web Site -- Tell your family, friends, customers, Google and the world that your website is live and ready for viewing! There are a number of ways to market a site.
