Web Design Consultation

The first step is the Web Design Consultation. We've tried to give you as much information as possible hee on the site but each project is different, so we start with the LBC Web Design Website Planning Guide. Download and complete the Planning Guide then email it back to us. A design consultant will contact you within 7 days with a project plan and rate price quote.

The next phase of LBC Web Design Consultation is the planning meeting. For clients in the Greater Los Angeles area the meeting can be scheduled in-person. Or other meeting options include, telephone, Instant Messenger, and email. In general the planning meeting will last about an hour. We both come to the table with the Planning Guide, feel free to bring any resources (your content, photos, color strips, sketches, dvds, etc.). Together we bust out the pencils and paper and start building!

The goal is to come out of the planning meeting with a clear blueprint of:

* What you want from your new site
* What LBC Web Design can do to meet your needs.

Project Timeline and Down Payment

After the Design Meeting, we bring everything back to the office and draw up a fair and realistic price rate for your project. You'll also get a project timeline and completion date agreement. You will have 7 days to either decline the rate or accept and make down payment. Your down payment is one-half the total project rate. The second half of payment is due before your site goes live.

The Building Phase

Upon reciept and clearance of the down payment, work begins on your new website. We'll work on your design options and you'll begin collecting and sending us your content, photos, etc.

Based on the blueprint design plan from Step One, and the Project Timeline, we'll provide you with two custom site designs. You will then have 3 days to select a design and 7 additional days to make up to two revisions to your selection. After the design is locked in, we begin adding your content. Depending on the scope of your project, this building phase can last anywhere from a week to 3-4 weeks. The exact time will be outlined in your unique Project Timeline.

After we complete your Web site, your site will be made available for your review. You will have 5 days to submit a final set of changes to your content before the site is published or delivered. At this stage, only revisions to copy/text will be accepted.

Once the final revisions have been made, your site will be ready to go live. Final payment for the project is due at this time.

Going Live With Your New Website!

Your completed website will be delivered to you in one of two ways:
* If you've chosen a hosting or installation plan, we'll upload or install all of your files to your webhost, MySpace etc. Your site is now live and ready for visitors!

                       * If you've chosen a design code only package, we'll provide you with a link to access and                        download all of your files. Once you upload and install them, your site is live!

Site Administrator Training

If you've also chosen a site self-management package, your site administrator training session will be scheduled within a week of your site going live. Don't let the code scare you, running your own website is much easier than most people think. In our training session we'll give to the software and skills to take control of your site content.
